Sunday Market

As promised here are some photos I took last Sunday. One of the musicians is sporting a fine example of a mullet and the stalls are all in addition to the usual wonderful selection of fresh fruit and veg, flowers, cheeses, charcuterie, wines, hardware goods, more conventional clothes and shoes and much more. It really is a fabulous Market that runs throughout the year although it is obviously much busier in the summer months.

Glad the move went well. This market looks wonderfully colourful. We have a weekly market in the town where I live but it is drab by comparison.

Ah, the mullet. France has many admirable properties but style isn't one of them, you have to go to Italy for that. In France, you can still buy wallpaper that went out of fashion in England in the 1970s. And the mullet: yes, we've seen many examples, yet never a good one. Old age and gravity has done for my own hair but I don't think its chagrin; in anybody's estimation (sauf un français) the mullet is truly passé.
